Has anybody here worked with praat? Maybe someone can point me in the right direction.
I'm trying to silence certain parts of a sound file. I'd usually use "set selection to zero" in the sound editor. But I also have a textgrid where I annotated the sounds. I want to use that textgrid to guide me which sounds to silence, but when I open both sound and textgrid, the textgrid editor opens and "set selection to zero" is not available. Any suggestions? edit: Never mind, I used the group feature. Very cumbersome on a netbook, but it gets the work done.
