Finally starting this thread:)

Here are the current members:

Amerykanka - Spanish, Italian, Latin; Polish
Julie - Polish (native), Russian; French
mick33 - Spanish, Italian; Polish
DaraghM - French, Spanish, Italian; Russian, Polish, Czech
Isabliss_27 - Portuguese (native), French; Russian
Skuld - Spanish (native), Catalan/Valencian, French; Russian
FDppkaul - Portuguese (native), Catalan, Spanish, Italian; Russian, Bulgarian
ancpem1 - Spanish, French, Latin; Russian
Kronos - Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese; Russian
renaissancemedi - Russian; French
arnolzz - Russian; French
Gallo1801 - French, Portuguese; Croatian

Also, would you mind having a small requirement? If you do 6 week challenges, at least one of them has to be in a Slavic or Romance language. This doesn't anyhow affect those who don't do 6WC, but I really think it would be a nice rule.

While I'm at it, thought I'd pimp reineke's challenge too. Here are my goals for it.

Put me down for Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, and Croatian. For now.

Until I change my mind of course. Although, as much as I have added and dropped the past year, those are all the same as before so I think that should be safe. :)

Any ideas for team names?

I don't care, mainly because I don't usually have time for 6 week challenges, and if I do this year, I will
probably do French or Italian anyway.

Random question: how do you include links? I try to put links in my posts and it NEVER works.

Agreed, that's a nice rule. As for the name it would be nice to have a word that
represents both language branches, maybe something Franco-Russian or Croat-Italian..
That's all I got so far.

I was already planning to do russian as primary language in the 6WC, so I don't mind the rule :)
Oh, reineke's challenge is great! It will definitely help the studies.

The 6WC rule is fine, since all my languages are Romance or Slavic. If I even do another 6WC. :)

The 6WC rule is fine, yet hard. Well, I'll have to manage :)
I promised myself I won't start another Romance language (or go back to Italian) before
I'm happy with French and Spanish, and those two should be enough to keep me busy for the
whole year, as far as Romance languages are concerned. Unfortunately, both French and
Spanish are not 6WC-eligible :(

And I planned 1-2 6WCs in Swedish and probably 1 in Dutch...

But 1 6WC in Russian should be doable :)
