I've decided to open a separate journal entry for the TAC 2013. I'll keep updating my original Supreme challenge log, but on a less frequent basis. It's primarily concerned with French, and Solfrid Christins challenge, while this will be a more general study log.
My goals for TAC 2013 are,
Romance languages (French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese(?))- 600 hours (Main goal)
Slavic languages (Russian, Polish, Czech, others(?)) - 200 hours (Main goal)
Finno-Ugraic (Hungarian, Estonian(?) - 100 hours (Main goal)
Celtic (Irish) - 50 hours (Main goal - was bonus goal)
Others (Thai(?), Mandarin(?), Japanese(?)) - 50 hours (Bonus goal)
Instead of trying to guess the hours per language, I'll stick to goals for each language family. It's normally my travel plans that decide this.
I'll start the challenge on 01 January 2013.
[EDIT]
My current teams are,
Nebun - Slavic-Romance
*jäŋe\ledús - Finno-Ugraic\Slavic
Clan Lugus - Celtic

Taking a leaf from LanguageSponge's log, I'll state my January 2013 goals.
Main languages: French, Spanish
Other languages: Russian, Irish
French: Complete 3 more chapters of Vite et Bien 2. Use other resources as needed.
Spanish: Using a wide variety of resources, study at least 30 hours of Spanish. I'm heading to Spain on the 18th, so I'd like to maintain the language around mid-B2.
Russian: Read some Russian each week in January. I'll increase my Russian study in the coming months.
Irish: Watch at least one Irish language program a week. E.g. Nuacht.
Hungarian: If I get to do any Hungarian in January, this will be a bonus.

Isten hozott a jäŋe\ledús csapatban! Örülök, hogy idén olyan sok ember tanul magyarul.
How are you learning Hungarian and what's your current level?

My Hungarian study has been piecemeal over the past couple of years. I'd estimate my level is mid-A1 speaking, and A2 reading. I've used a variety of resources like the FSI Hungarian BAsic Course, Colloquial Hungarian and the older course Learn Hungarian.

Come to Germany! We have NINE neighboring countries - Denmark, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, France, Luxemburg, Belgium, the Netherlands (... and if you don't care about getting wet feet, add the UK), and a host of others are just behind those or not far off. :)
