daegga, thanks for the list of series, both the ones you watched and the ones you're going to. It is quite a comprehensive source!

Ok guys, let's call it a year.

TAC 2014 summary
I'll make it short. I did less watching than I would've liked to, and more reading than I
had thought I would be capable to do.
You can find a detailed list on the previous page, but here the overview:
Norwegian: 65h TV
Danish: 780 pages of books, 69h TV
Swedish: 5901 pages of books, 128h TV and audiobooks

In addition, there was Anki, radio, music and online news, all of which I didn't consider
in my log, but it amounts to some time too. And Assimil Swedish of course.
I've also attended a Swedish course since autumn.

So where does that take me? My Swedish certainly improved a lot, both passively and
actively. I'm actually astonished about how much I can do in Swedish without resorting to
Svorsk, even though I do need that crutch occasionally.
Norwegian and Danish got a lot less attention, and I don't really see any change there.
Well, my passive skills in Norwegian are probably better now than they were back when I
was living in Norway, which is at least something (considering that I didn't do anything
related to Norwegian for 2 or 3 years afterwards). But I feel like my active skills are
slowly decreasing. So be it.

The end is the beginning is the end. The circle is closing.

~~ TAC 2015 starts here ~~

Plans? What plans? I'm done with plans. I'll do what needs to be done and I make
certain I'll enjoy the ride. I kept my langugages deliberately vague (East and West
Scandinavian). Be certain to see some Swedish, Danish and Norwegian. Apart from that, who
knows. Icelandic and Nynorsk are certainly candidates for a closer look. Been there, done
that, so why not go back to it. Time will tell.
