I was wondering if anyone could tell me what all each of these cover? It seems there is
only one level for Paul Noble, but multiple for Michel Thomas.

So, Paul Noble versus doing just Foundation, or Foundation + Advanced.

I was unsure how far either go in covering grammar and vocab? Thanks.

I don't know about Paul Noble, but I can give some insight about Michel Thomas. The thing about Spanish is that the teacher in the course is Michel Thomas himself and as for vocabulary he likes to rely on cognates and makes you think out the answer, which is great, but on the other hand new MT courses for other languages, that don't feature Michel Thomas as a teacher, more tend to give alien vocabulary and less cognates, because you will learn them sooner or later. As I have counted for other languages, usually there are on average 20-50 new words and grammatical structures per CD. So if there are 8 Cd's, count that as on average 200-400 new words and constructions. What's good about the courses where M.Thomas teaches, he also gives more information on grammar. That is a thing some new MT courses lack. As for the Foundation and Advanced thing - in the Advanced one the vocabulary is pretty much the same as in the Foundation course, but you just have to construct sentences that are more complex. Overall Michel Thomas is a great method, but the bad thing about them are the students in the CD's. Some people don't like to listen to Michel Thomas' voice also, but I don't have a problem with him. Especially on the Spanish course the students are just painful to listen to, even to a degree that when I went through the Spanish course a little bit, I didn't know whether the students really don't get it or they are just simply pretending to be, I might even say, stupid.

Paul Noble is essentially a revision MT's method that puts it somewhere between MT and
Pimsleur - the ground covered by Paul Noble is usually just less or the same as the the
MT Foundation with less words - there are no students but there is a native speaker to
help with your accent.
