About a half month ago I have created lang-8.com account. After that I added several
reviews (to not be a leech) and my first post in English. It's been two weeks and nobody
wants to write a review of my submission. Is there any different way to improve my
writting skills or I am still doing something wrong? I will be grateful for for any
advices.

Have you corrected anybody's written work? I'm sure they will then be willing to correct yours. I submitted my first written piece (in Mandarin), and corrected a Chinese girl's written work last Saturday. By Sunday morning my work had been corrected by two people.

If you want to post or pm me your name on lang-8 I'll try and look at your review this weekend. You can then do the same when I get round to writing something in Polish. :-)

I suggest writing more. This will put your new essays at the top of the list, and if someone corrects those, they'll also see your older uncorrected essay. Also, correct and befriend people studying Polish.

I don't think there's a better site for getting corrections like this. If there is, I'd like someone to tell me about it.

To add to the above suggestions, I would also suggest keeping each written entry fairly
short (a paragraph or two at most).

It takes a while to properly go through a submission and correct it, at least if we're
being thoughtful with our comments and corrections. I've noticed that the shorter
entries usually get corrected sooner.

A fairly large proportion of English entries seem to never get corrected, as the number of people learning English is much greater than the number of native English speakers learning other languages. If your enty is not corrected within a couple of days, then it's not going to get corrected, and it's time to write another. Just because it's not getting corrected, doesn't mean you're not benefitting from having written it. As others have mentioned, write often but short. Correct the entries of English speakers learning Polish. Topics that always get a lot of hits are those about language or cultural differences. Eventually some of your entries will get corrected.

You were right. I have written some texts in French and after couple of minutes someone
corrected it. It is very hard to find someone, who will want to write a review of English
post. Thanks for your help.
