Dans la publicité conernant une nouvelle gamme de voitures, la société Citroen annonce:
"le nouveau Citroen 4", tandis que dans une autre annonce, elle dit ,...."pour avoir la neuve Citroen". Ceci me semble comme un changement de genre. Pourquoi? Peut-être c'est sous-entendu "la nouvelle [voiture] Citroën" et dans l'autre c'est sous-entendu "le nouveau [automobile] Citroën"?

Automobile est féminin... En principe, c'est féminin. Si on a utilisé le masculin, le nom sous-entendu a dû être différent, par exemple le type de voiture dont il s'agit, comme le camion, etc. 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

Peut-être voulait-on dire "le nouveau modèle 4". Ça me paraît logique puisqu'il est précisé.
