Just wanted to thank everybody for the many suggestions one more time. I've subscribed to a lot of new podcasts mentioned in this thread, and I'm really excited about the new opportunities to listen to captivating and quite varied content. The podcasts suggested here include Belgian, Canadian, Swiss and French programs, and I really like the variety of accents and perspectives. So: Thanks, everybody! :)

I have also dabbled with the Tete au carre but find its a bit too sensationalist/irresponsible (like most science journalism) and self congratulatory (It feels like listening to the American National Public Radio) but there are some good episodes in there.
I have become a bigger fan of "Terre a Terre" http://www.franceculture.fr/emission-terre-a-terre-0 I find it is more oriented around storytelling and asks hard questions; its not just about making you feel informed. If ecology/agriculture interest you I would give it a listen. 2 persons have voted this message useful |
