They are Vietnamese, English, Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, French, Japanese, Hindi, Arabic, Russian, Cantonese and Portuguese." What do you guys think? She seems to understand everything well and respond, but a lot of it has weird intonation, like it was badly memorized...though that could easily just be tonal languages interfering with her intonation or something. But she DID get on Oprah (watch the first video) which makes me think this is legit. I'm on the fence. Still, even if she did just memorize scripts, she's clearly got understanding and basic phrases under her belt in 11 languages which is EXTREMELY impressive for an 8-year-old! :) Edited by Astrophel on 25 February 2013 at 10:45am 2 persons have voted this message useful | |
