It is a great course. You will speak correctly and fairly confidently, but you will likely crave even more when you are done with it. After completing you will feel like you need more vocabulary and more listening/understanding.

Hi,

everything will be available very soon ... I got the structure of the dead website on
archive.org, so as soon I got all the material (recordings and books), I'll
reconstruct a website which mimicks the old one.

I just need some time ;)

Be patient ;)

Thank you I will certainly back it up all as soon you will finish the site. Do you know
if the fsi site will we re-opened in the future?

I just found the FSI Spanish in a great little second hand bookshop in Liverpool for just £5!

8 cassette tapes and thick coursebook.

Im gonna go back and get it after work. I had no cash on me at the time.

8 cassette tapes and a thick coursebook does not sound like the FSI Basic course. It may be the FSI FAST course or one of the introduction courses. It could be the first quarter of the Basic course too. The Basic course would consist of roughly 60 hours of audio and four text books.

So James29 was right: it's just one level out of the 4.

Yes, you purchased the first quarter of FSI basic. Congratulations! You can also buy the second quarter in most bookstores (I bought level 2 on Amazon for $0.50) or you can just wait until the FSI website is back up and running.

I must say that all the buzz about FSI on this forum is making me want to do the FSI Basic Spanish course again.
