La Reina del Sur is great, but I am now more addicted to El Capo and think it is more interesting. I also think it is easier to understand and follow. The plot (though extremely suspenseful) is painfully easy to understand. You can watch it here

Wow, what an helpful thread! I think I am going to bookmark this. I was wondering if you had any shows with Spanish subtitles that you like to watch since I feel I am not good enough to watch shows without subtitles and I am not sure watching them with English subtitles would be as helpful.
