France Culture (Sur les docks: Le français est une chance) has published four hour-long podcasts on French in Canada, Switzerland, Belgium and Ivory Coast. I've listened to the first two of them (on Canada and Switzerland) and found them very interesting. If you're interested in peripheral French, you might enjoy them as well.

Thanks a lot, Bakunin! Long podcasts like these are the best. I can listen to them during long walks.

Thank you so much! I found out about these podcasts a few days ago and, browsing through the websites of all radios involved (and wondering about how stupid I may be), I managed to find only one of them :). You made my day!

OK, I really have no luck with these podcasts. I'm trying to download them (by clicking on the little mobile phone icon). I've registered at the website for that, and I use the same e-mail and password to download the podcast - still, no luck ("Désolé, nom d'utilisateur ou mot de passe non reconnu."). What am I doing wrong?

Try subscribing to the podcast on your phone (if you have a smartphone), then show all podcasts available and download the ones you want. At least that's what would work on my iPhone.

Thanks! Now I'm feeling really stupid; I've never subscribed to a podcast on my phone :) (I've got an Android smartphone). Hopefully I can do that :). No idea why I can't just log on the website, though.

// EDIT

I managed to log on using a workaround but it didn't work out this way (it seems it was a payable option).

I've found another solution though, and here it comes:

RSS

If you want to download the podcasts, that's the way to go.

Now I'm even more motivated to listen to them :).

Some sites seem to actively make it difficult to find their podcasts these days. I guess they prefer you to keep coming back to their site as often as possible.
