Hi
I've always been a big fan of sentence mining but I still haven't found the ideal way to revise the sentences.
I use it as an alternative to speaking (or like a preparation for it) and also as a way of improving accuracy.
I don't use any software, I just write lists into books, with columns...
The best way to remember sentences long-term seems to be the use of spaced repetitions but then, sentences don't tend to come up as automatically and as effortlessly during a conversation as when I overlearn them.
On the other hand, the problem with overlearning these sentences is that the automaticity tends to only last a few days so the process ends up being rather time-consuming.
So basically, my concern is to activate those useful sentences in the shortest possible time in order to commit them to my long-term memory.
Any thoughts?

Speak. Speak some more.
Then write. Write some more. If you want to retain phrases you must use them actively in
context. So prepare active output activities.

Try shadowing, too.
Also, play with your sentences, combine their elements and replace the key words. this is what you want to do with the sentences easily:)

Listen! Don't forget the listening!
Then read something. Reading is also very useful.
