In about 30 days I will be spending the weekend with a friend I don't get to see that often as he lives in Madrid. He
is an American and speaks native English as I do but why speak in English when we can speak in Spanish? :-)
So here is the question. Which program should I use at home for the next 30 days? I can spend about 30-60mins
per day on this.
Right now on the "shelf" I have:
Assimil L'Espagnol san peine (French source)
Berlitz Essential Spanish
Hugo Spanish in 3 Months
Pimsleur Spanish (All 100 lessons)
Headstart for Spain (on the FSI site)
I want to make a nice chunk of progress with it in 30 days, with the emphasis on speaking and listening
comprehension. I'm leaning toward the Assimil right now. It is important to understand that I am a false debutante
with Spanish. I did an intensivo in Madrid a couple years ago for a week, and I work with Mexicans on a daily basis.
What are your thoughts? Thanks!
Best,
JohnPaul
