I suggest you learn to use connecting phrases more often when speaking. Things like "in
my opinion", "actually", "as you might expect", etc etc. Use these as fillers for when
you need time to think, rather than just saying "um". These can really make speech flow
better.
Anthony Lauder(FluentCzech on Youtube) explained this on his website with quite a few
