So I'm currently trying to work on my Korean. I'm at an intermediate level and it seems
almost impossible to reach advanced fluency. Nonetheless, I'm determined to reach my
goals and improve my abilities in anyway possible. In the hopes of creating a positive
environment for myself and others, are there any people out there who have taught
themselves a language(or languages) to fluency? What helped keep you motivated? How did
you overcome all the hurdles of language learning? Do tell. And don't be afraid to brag.
It's always nice to know that other people have accomplished the very thing you're
working incredible hard at~^^

I think there are people out there. It is even possible that some of them write here. Maybe you can read some threads, e.g. have a look at the section "Language learning Log". The answer may be somewhere in there.

Look up Professor Arguelles; he's reached advanced fluency in a number of languages, including Korean.
