I hope this is the correct subforum. I am trying to edit my Assimil Russian audio files
and I am having trouble.
First, I cannot get it to only select parts of the audio. For example, the first lesson
says the dialogue twice. I only want to select the first part of speaking and change
the settings. However, I cannot figure out how to get it to only select that part, and
not all of it.
Second, how do I chop off parts of the audio? I also cannot get it to only do that and
I keep cutting out everything. I am wanting to cut off when it says lesson, and when it
says "exercise 1". I am on the newest version, Audacity 2.0.3
Any help would be appreciated! Also, any general tips on things to keep in mind when
editing Assimil with Audacity would be great.

D'oh, of course I figure it out right after I post. You have to select in the body of the
audio, not along the top. Sorry team. But I guess this can stay in case other questions
come up.
