does it matter which other languages I list? (what, only four? :P) Shall I list the most important ones or the best or what? Shall I include Croatian? :))) ♥ is it fine to exclude English? :D PS I think the most important way the language influences us is the vocabulary, but not just the way you describe - the various distinctions and generalizations remain in your brain even when you're speaking your native language. They're available when you want to describe something to yourself with more precision than your native language (or the language you happen to be thinking in) allows. in this sense Indonesian is very important with its inclusive/exclusive "we".
