Pri la demandoj, mi pensas same kiel Arekkusu. Mi nur volas aldoni, ke "moderno" kaj "moderneco" ne estas same. "Moderneco" estas pli kiel "modernity" angle.

Eble "En la momento, kiam mi vekiĝas, la sonorilo jam estis soninta pli frue." (had rung), se oni volas esti precizega.

Se ĝi daŭre sonas, oni povas diri "Kiam mi vekiĝis, la (eksonita) sonorilo (daŭre) sonantis", aŭ "Mi vekiĝis post eksonoris la sonorilon, kaj ĝi sonatadis", ktp. Eblas eĉ "la daŭre sonata sonorilo vekas min". La () vortoj povas ĉeesti aŭ esti forlasitaj. Estas iom nenatura esti tiom preciza.

"Kiam mi vekiĝas, la sonorilo jam komencis soni" nur diras, ke ĝi eksonoris, sed ne indikas se ĝi daŭre sonis, aŭ ĉesis post 20 sekundoj, 5 minutoj antaŭ vi ekvekiĝis... Kaj ĝi ankaŭ signifas ke vi nun estas vekiĝa(n)ta. La participoj havas relativan temp-referon, sed la -as/is/os vortojn estas absolutaj. Vidu pomego aŭ "Being Colloquial in Esperanto".

Ĉu diferencas "ĝi sonantis" de "ĝi estis sonanta" (It was ringing)?

(Nun mi gardegas min diri ke du esprimoj samas)

Dankon, mi ne sciis, ke povas diri "sonanti". Estas iomete malsimple. Mi neniam vidis nek aŭdis pri "Being Colloquial in Esperanto", sed ĝi ŝajnas ege interesanta. Mi nun studis kun "Paŝoj al plena posedo", sed eble mi devus unue legi tiun libron.

Kaj mi ankaŭ havas saman demandon, kiel Cabaire :)

"Esti" povas esti kunfarĉita je -a vortoj. Do, "estas blua" kaj "bluas" same signifas.

Mi kore rekomendas "Being Colloquial in Esperanto". Ĝi estas utilega.

Redakton: Vidu ankaŭ evolucio de Esperanto, de Claude Piron (angle). Tiaj verbitaj formoj estas iom pli frape, sed samsignife.
