Hi all,
I'm just starting with Indonesian and would like opinions on which text/audio course to go with. I already have Assimil but, because my French isn't so strong anymore, am interested in buying an English-language course if there is one on par or better. There are great reviews out there for both Teach Yourself and Colloquial. So, for people here with experience: which Indonesian course worked best for you? This is the first time I would be trying to self-teach a language through an audio course. All thoughts are appreciated. 2 persons have voted this message useful | |

I'm also using Assimil and, in addition, Teach Yourself, which I found to be quite good and well structured, especially for a complete beginner in the language, but Assimil will probably take you further. Thanks so much for your input Iwwersetzerin. I'll keep going with Assimil for now then and
buy Teach Yourself if the French turns out to be too hard. Good luck with your languages as well, I see we have 100% overlap. :-) 1 person has voted this message useful |
