Like many people these days, I spend a little bit too much time on Facebook. However, I've recently made that time slightly more productive by "liking" some target-language pages which frequently post interesting articles, funny pictures, or quotes. That way, my news feed is now interspersed with short pieces of my target languages, and if something interests me I can read the article or the comments. I suppose this is along similar lines to the common advice to peruse "trashy" media to get exposure to informal language, like humour sites and low-brow TV programmes - the sort of stuff that you shouldn't waste your time with in your native language but can be surprisingly useful in one you're learning. Obviously I'm not saying you should sign up to Facebook just for these, but if you're already a frequent user then it's a good idea.
A few good ones that I've recently discovered in Italian:
Notifica: funny pictures, image macros, internet memes.
Aforismi: inspiring/interesting/amusing quotes.
Il Coinquilino di Merda: funny real-life stories about house-sharing experiences. There are some other good "XYZ di merda" pages too.
Informazione Libera: a more high-brow one, interesting articles about societal issues etc., very popular with Italians.
I don't know as many for French, since I have far fewer French friends. The Topito page (a site that should already be in every intermediate/advanced French student's feed reader) has some good images and links as well as just re-posts of the site's articles. Ta gueule je parle occasionally has good stuff, but even for my lowered foreign language standards most of the posts are far too trashy and "like-baiting". If anyone knows of something good like Notifica then I'd be interested to know.
Post any other good ones you know, for any language. I suppose there are also similar things for Twitter, although I don't use it.

For BCSM I like Klub nenaspavanih. And in German I randomly found Racheshop, they post a lot of fun stuff.
It's also a good idea to follow pages related to the cultural things you like in your L2, like celebrities, events, cities' pages etc.

Useful Spanish language learning sites with Facebook pages are VeinteMundos and Practica español (these are
two free online magazines for people studying Spanish). I also like Góngora Correcciones (a Facebook page about
the Spanish language and correct grammar, spelling, etc.)
Of course, you can also usually follow the Spanish language site of your favorite newspaper. For example, there's
CNN en Español. Or you could just follow a newspaper from a Latin American country or Spain, like El País
(Facebook page is ELPAIS.com).
Another site I found the other day is Ruben y el mundo. It's a travel site with 3-4 minute videos in Spanish with
English subtitles. I'm sure you could find other Spanish blogs like this to follow on Facebook.
Hope these help!
