Day seven of the six-week challenge:
talk to someone: 30 minutes - half of a one-hour Skype session with one of my Spanish language partners listen to something: 10 minutes - one Notes in Spanish podcast read something: 20 minutes - Despereaux write something: nope practice vocabulary: 29 minutes - anki (both decks, also inputted a bunch of stuff from this weekend) TOTAL: 89 minutes This puts me at 11 hours so far. Day ten of six-week challenge:
talk to someone: 30 minutes - skype tutoring session listen to something: 10 minutes - listened in on part of a Verbling class (I actually listened to way more than this, but with divided attention, so I'm only counting it as 10 minutes) read something: 20 minutes - Despereaux write something: 22 minutes - a few pages in Practice Makes Perfect (irregular verbs) practice vocabulary: 44 minutes - anki decks - Duolingo So I accidentally tweeted that I wasn't sure I'd hit 75 hours in August. talk to someone: nope listen to something: 94 minutes - Destinos episode 21 - 4 intermediate podcasts on Notes in Spanish - listened in on 20 minutes of a Verbling class - sang along to three Spanish songs read something: 20 minutes - Despereaux write something: 33 minutes - translating sentences for someone's university research project. talk to someone: 90 minutes - 60 minutes with Skype Spanish tutor - 30 minutes in 1-hour 50/50 language exchange on Skype listen to something: 29 minutes - Notes in Spanish: 3 intermediate podcasts read something: 20 minutes - Despereaux. I love this book so much! I don't want it to end. write something: 28 minutes - Practice Makes Perfect - verbs practice vocabulary: 18 minutes - anki This puts at 21.6 hours total for the month of August. If I want to hit 75 hours this month, I'll need to put in about 170 minutes per day. Doable...but it'll be tight! practice vocabulary: 1 person has voted this message useful | |
