I have just discovered the FSI Languages site and the Japanese Headstart course. Bear in mind that though I have studied Japanese on and off for quite some time, I have never really progressed beyond A1/A2. I have some questions, if anyone could provide some insights...

Has anyone used the DLI Japanese Headstart course? Is is feasable to use it as self study material without an instructor? Can anyone suggest a systematic method of studying it?
