Hi, I recently worked through A Practical Chinese Grammar by Samuel Cheung, et al and greatly enjoyed it. Now I'm looking for a similarly styled textbook/reader to continue onwards--any suggestions? I like lots of example sentences, exercises not necessary. Thanks.

I don't really know about any intermediate grammar books, but you could also consider to just start working your way through readers now that you have a grasp on the grammar. If you're familiar with traditional characters, there's John DeFrancis' beginning, intermediate and advanced Chinese readers. Afterwards, there's a series of advanced readers produced by a Chinese language program in Taiwan, although they can sometimes be a bit hard to come by: Radio Plays, Talks on Chinese Culture and Thoughts and Society.

As for simplified characters, there's the excellent Chinese Breeze series to provide you with extensive reading material, although they won't get you to a very advanced level. On their website, though, there's also a link to a Readings in Chinese Culture series (as well as to various other types of readers), which I suppose will be more challenging.
