Writing a Thai parser is simple if you have a dictionary to work from.

Cat from WLT brought this up last year (and alerted me to this site and thread), so I
wrote a quick parser using the FLTR dictionary, the Haskell language, and based on
Andrej's suggestions. For my own purposes I had it translate the parsed words, using
the dictionary.

So:

ทีมนักวิจัยอเมริกันท ี่ศูนย์ Habour–UCLA Medical Center ในนครลอสเองเจลลีส รัฐแคลิฟอร์เนีย ค้นพบเรื่องนี้หลัง
จากทำการทดลองในหนูทด ลอง

becomes

team-researcher-American-at-the-center-<?>-in-city-Los Angeles-the state of California-
discover-story-this-after-do-experiment-in-mouse-experiment

This should be relatively simple for me to port over to Javascript, if anyone thinks it
would be useful.

The votes have continued to climb (slowly). Thai is now up to 479. Please vote!

In the meantime, Rick has been working on a parser for Thai and now needs volunteers. The details can be found here: Thai Text Reader: Parsing

It's simple. Locate Thai. Copy, then paste the script into the parser. Parse. Email glitches to Rick. Rick will then correct/add them to the Thai dictionary hooked to the parser.
