Just thought some people here might enjoy this. My best so far is 550 with 2 lives still in tow...

Fun game. I tripped up with Somali and even Danish which I should have recognised.
I made a measly 750 on my first attempt. Some of the recordings are muffled though - so that's my excuse. Checking the 'stats', the record score is 4050. Torbyrne must be playing! 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

Really nice game, I did quite well until I had to chose between several Indian languages or African languages.

Two observations:
1) the languages seem to be randomly grouped -- one round might be easy while the next might be hellish right from the start. 2) the more you play, the easier it gets because you start recognizing the excerpts ;) 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

I absolutely agree. I did well with the Asian and Indian languages as well as the Latin descendents but I struggled with the Skandanavian and Eastern European languages as I have not really looked at them before. Still lots more to learn, apparently. 1 person has voted this message useful | |||
