I got to 650. This game is fantastic, I wonder how the data will be used for any cool amateur linguistics
research.

650 as well. It's pretty tough.

550. I can't tell Slavic or Indian languages apart apparently - not surprising!

My options on one were Basque, Dinka, Estonian, Northern Ndebele, and Somali...

First time 850, second time 650 - and the 'killers' were mostly the Indian languages (Christ Ford, thou art not alone). For instance I mistook Kannada for Sinhalese, and I could easily repeat this mistake if I heard those two again. Maybe it's time to read a few volumes of Kauderwelsch to gain some specific knowledge about those languages - I could identify Hungarian and Basque on their endings. Third round crashed due to a memory problem, but it started out asking me to separate Bosnian and Croatian(missed), followed by Croatian and Slovak (got it), and the Macedonian and something else. Fourth and so far last attempt gave 750 points, and again I lost most of my 'lives' (2 out of 3) on the Indian subcontinent.

This game could become addictive.

After several attempts over a few days got 1100! It's true that you start to recognise the clips. Pity they didn't have more than one for each language. Good fun though.

In the beginning, I tried it three or four times, with scores around 250-300.

A couple of hours later, I got 850 (with a few lucky guesses).

When you have Croatian, Bosnian and Slovenian as options (or Gujarati and Punjabi, for that matter), you're bound to guess, unless you really know them.

Great find, anyway.

Edit: played two more times, got 650 and 850. But with luck: got Italian twice, Spanish once and also Portuguese (for the first time).
