	Hello, I was listening to the song "La tortura" by Shakira and I heard the following expression: "Es que no estoy hecho de cartón". Being a native Portuguese speaker I thought it should be "es que no soy hecho de cartón". I checked the lyrics on different websites and it was in fact "estoy". Is that correct? 	In Spanish, the proper way is "estar hecho de", "to be made of". This is one of the few differences between Spanish and Portuguese in the use of ser/estar. 3 persons have voted this message useful

	The Spanish rendition seems more logical to me. With the verb SER it would sound like continual SE passive, as in: La puerta es cerrada = La puerta se cierra (por alguien). different than La puerta está cerrada. A gente fechou a porta ---> A porta está fechada.
