@espejismo: Could you also be talked into becoming the Russian team's godfather/guardian angel?

Or are there other Russian native speakers who would like to do the job (Serpent, Via Diva, Марк...)?

I would be glad to be a guardian angel, but I have a lack of responsibility skills and I can take it as part-time job only :)

Plus, I want to remind that it would be great to have one for Team STARt :)

Josquin: I'd be happy to do that, but while I can help with cultural stuff and translations, I'm not good at correcting Russian texts, and I can't explain the inner workings of Russian grammar and pronunciation the way Serpent, Via Diva, and Mark can. I generally know what sounds right and what doesn't, but I don't always know the underlying rules.

edit: if Via Diva agrees to help you on a part-time basis, I wouldn't mind doing the same. ;)

Great, Via Diva! You just got yourself a deal. :) No panic, we won't stress you unduly.

Hmm, it will be rather difficult to find a guardian angel for Team STARt, because you're all studying different languages...

Thanks, espejismo! So, you and Via Diva can share the post as guardian angels of the team. You can complement each other and no one will be overly demanded.

Спасибо большое to both of you!

It's not about languages we're studying, but rather about the answer to the eternal question "how to learn a language?!". Hence we need some confident polyglot to guide us :)
Буду рада помочь :)

I'd like to sign up onto Team Celts for 2014, and take my Irish from beginner to intermediate, maybe B2 by the end of the year!

That and team Iberia is relying on your leadership as well, you are our William Wallace (but then Iberian
style...)
