I would like to join this team, as Mandarin will be my focus language this year, and I hope to go to China in the Summer. I will start a log later on in the week. May I suggest, at this late stage, team Panda? Pandas are unique to China and they're cuddlier than magpies.

Also, would anyone be interested in starting a FaceBook group? Its kind of inconvenient keeping track of everyones logs on here. The leader must be Sunja, unless we want to lose this thread, because she's the only one who's able to edit the first message. The name is likely to be Magpie, which to tell you the truth means nothing to me at this point, but maybe this is the right moment to learn something more about the Chinese culture.
