I'll actually have free these next few weeks, so hopefully this will really jump-start
my Swedish. Have a nice 6wc y'all.

I updated my log with the challenge yesterday...and completely forgot to say it here, I'm sorry about that!

Finally, who’s going to take part in the 6wc starting tomorrow? I’ve seen daegga, WoofCreature and Serpent. Who else is going to be there? I’m going with Spanish (my Swedish is no longer eligible, unfortunately).

The 6wc sounds tempting, but I'm not sure I could participate with Swedish since you have to be a complete beginner to join, don't you? :/

No, you can join even if you’re not a complete beginner. Your level must not be above lower-intermediate.

From the bot:

Quote:
Note that you can only do the 6 Week Challenge with a language that you're a beginner at or lower-intermediate at most.

Do join us in the 6wc even if you don't choose Swedish! You really end up studying – and learning – a lot!

EDIT: daegga beat me to it, but we both came to the same conclusion.

Thanks to both of you too, daegga and Emme! The B1 level limit means that I could join with either Swedish or French (my passive skills in French are around B1/B2, but I'm a disaster when it comes to writing).

I'm definitely tempted to join now, I only need to figure out which language would be the best choice.

You can log all your languages there, even those that are too advanced. You just have to
decide on a low-intermediate or lower language as your main language (1st row) for
comparison's sake. But there is a second row for "everything you do" during these 6
weeks. So if it's a tough decision, just throw a dice (or coin ;) )

Great! With jeff and suzukaze, that makes 11 out of 16 active and 12 out of 21 in total.

Go team Asgard!
