"Velkommen" is the Danish and Norwegian pendant of "Välkomna".

I want to add that the suggested name "Valhalla" is a wrong form first used by the
German Richard Wagner (with a "W" though) in his opera, which popularity probably led to
the adoption of this term in English (there is the more right alternative "Valhall" in
English though). The modern Scandinavian languages use the form "Valhall" ("Valhal" is
used in Danish because of their spelling rules), which is more etymologically correct.
Whoever suggested the name probably wasn't aware of this, so I feel like I have to
intervene.

Good to know! I honestly wasn’t aware of that either and simply copied what I found in the other thread. But now the question is: Do you like “Valhall” as the name for the team? Do you have other names you like better?

You can either start a brand new log or you can use a previous one, but please, in the latter case edit your first post to tell us where the TAC’14 starts. As soon as we have chosen a team name (or by January if you’re still doing TAC’13 and prefer to finish that before making any changes) edit your log title to reflect that you’re taking part in the TAC as a member of the Scandinavian team. Make sure that if you use “TAC 2014” or some such words in the log title, they must not be at the beginning. Here's why.
