Dearest teammates, sorry I missed this thread! My name is Liam, I'm Irish and have been
learning German since September. I've been using Assimil German with ease, and am currently on lesson 93. I've enjoyed the course immensely am looking forward to learning more of this fascinating language with you all come the New Year! @ g-bod, thanks for taking the initiative to set up the thread! If there is still room, I'd love to join?
I have had years and years of nearly useless coursework in German that bored me to death. Fortunately, I've discovered that I really enjoy studying on my own and that it doesn't have to be as boring as those classes were! And now (after a sufficiently long break) I would like to take German on again! I'd say I'm pretty much an A1 beginner, though I imagine I'll move along at a decent pace because of my background in it. I'm in! I've been learning on my own for the last 2 years. I had 3 years of German in high school and traveled
