I know it's already March, but should we think about Skype meetings?
They used to happen quite regularly in Team Sputnik, I think, and we had two or three of them in Team MIR, so I thought it would be nice to revive this tradition. If you're interested, we could try to organize one for the coming weekend. I don't know if there would happen much besides self-introductions, but I think it would be nice if we could also practise our Russian. More advanced members could speak freely, while newbies could read something from their textbooks or so. Of course, nobody would be forced to speak Russian if they don't want to. I'm in too!
If past experience is anything to go by, most of us will be scared stiff by the idea of speaking in Russian, so I suggest that we have one first part where we simply get to know eachother in English, and then at the second part of the session, we can have a go at Russian. Those who feel up to it could present themselves, those who are new could either read something from their text book (Assimil for instance), as Josquin suggest, or just listen. It would be a shame if someone did not dare to participate because they were too afraid of saying anything :-) 1 person has voted this message useful | |

@tarvos: Thank you for your offer, but I'm a bit hesitant. I think this should be primarily about the team, so everybody can get to know each other. As you decided not to become a member of Team Katyusha, I think the team should decide whether they would like you to take part in our meetings or not.
