This is a thread for everyone's personal highlights of TAC 2013.

You can post about anything that impressed you during this (soon to be last) year's challenge, whether that be team efforts, individual logs, personal breathroughs or any other aspect.

Help us all to discover impressive achievements, interesting or funny logs we might otherwise miss.

To give you an idea about the things you could mention, here are Solfrid Cristin's ideas for categories of TAC logs:

Solfrid Cristin wrote:

- best overall log
- best newcomer
- funniest log
- most entertaining log
- most useful log
- the log with most foreign languages used in the log
- best travel log
- most consistent student
- longest individual thread started this year
- most languages studied

I would like to start the highlights reel by extending a huge thanks to Brun Ugle for a very efficient, structured organisation of the challenge. It must have been a whole lot of work and no doubt inspired many participants to join.

I think the prize for most foreign languages goes to Iversen, no questions asked!

Speaking for the Asian team, I was impressed that Bakunin - a first-year TAC participant - already reached his goal of 1000 hours of language study in October.

Also, js6426 - also pariticpating for the first time, I think - managed to complete all our team challenges and now knows ten times as many character than at the beginning of the year (from 150 to 1500). (To see the entries for the challenges have a look at the first post of the Asian team thread, where all of them are linked.

Yeah, the first highlight is the chaos in the beginning. Thanks to Brun Ugle for sorting it out!!!

The best newcomer was kujichagulia in my opinion.

Don't omit the interesting part, please ;) Why would you award him the best newcomer medal (if there was one)?

btw, kujichagulia is a newcomer? Wow! I thought I saw his name around during the last TAC as well, but maybe not... It's been a long year.

Also, if you are nominating someone for something, please include a link to their log so we can all check it out. :)

Did Iversen actually participate in TAC?
