I doubt that making a new log would solve any problems. The point is that this forum has a speed problem, which sometimes results in time-outs. However my experience is that things you have written mostly get saved even though a time-out occurs before the result is shown. If you press F5 to refresh the screen the content will mostly be shown. This is irritating, but the speed problem is not limited to specific threads.

Are you using the URL button or at least the URL code? Are you a Chrome user?

If your main problem is making valid links then it won't help to delete your log and start another. I checked your log and found that the content of a number of posts has been replaced by dots so I don't know what went wrong there, but let me try to guess.

If you make a link that is active, but doesn't lead to the desired page, then the reason could be that there has appeared a space in the code. The result should look something like [U RL=......](the visible part)[/U RL] (without the two spaces after U - I had to add those to avoid that the codes become invisible on the screen). Instead of the dots you put the complete link as you see it in the address field in your browser - including http:// (else the link will point back to HTLAL). You can use the button in the edit window, but then you should check the link manually for unwanted spaces. If you follow these tips your links should work.
