I have a question about the challenge, and how I would process it with the twitter bot. For example I have a book written by Stephen King in French. Mr King doesn't write short books! This particular novel is 1344 pages (it is a paperback). My understanding of the challenge is this counts as 26.8 "books".
I will be reading this book 50 pages at a time and want to tweet my progress. But it appears I should tweet only after having completed all 1344 pages. This will be split up automagically (I know it isn't a word, but it should be) into 26.8 books by the bot. Is that correct? So although it recommends reading one book per week, when I tweet this monster book, I'll get 26 weeks credit right? Supplementary question, can I get the source code for the twitter bot? No, you don't have to wait until you read the whole book! you can tweet any amount at a time. For example, if you tweet 50 pages at a time, you can just tweet
@langchallenge #french #book "name" if you read more, just list how many pages and it will count accordingly. Also, if you reread any 6 pages for a total of 1350, you can count this book as 27. 1 person has voted this message useful | |

Excellent! So I'm going to assume it is the same for films/audio if I listen/watch 30 minutes at a time it will total it as long as I'm consistent with the names.

The bot creates a nice graph of your progress. The plus side of tweeting every time you read 50 pages, is that the graph of your progress will be much smoother.

You don't have to be consistent with the names either. The bot just counts your total time or pages (and there's a downside here too). You can state the chapters/episodes in order to keep track of what you've counted so far. You can also just write the name only when you post your first update, and list no name for further instances, or use abbreviations or whatever works for you. But again, that's entirely up to you, there are no rules, written or unwritten.

Do any of you experienced Super Challengers have any advice on how to try and pace yourself? Do you try to hit the average amount of pages you need every day, and expect it to just get easier as you get faster at reading? Or do you try to start going above average to build a safety buffer against days when you're more busy/tired? Or is your process much looser than that?
