Good! I agree about the motivational factor.

Also, seems like the half-challenges (and double challenges) will be done by simply getting the needed amount of stars, without a distinction on the bot page? I've not registered with most langs yet because I was waiting to see if the half-challenges are added back in, and I didn't want to have to change all my challenges.

I hope I'm not annoying but I have another idea. Can we tweet the bot to declare our challenges as completed? Of course this doesn't make sense to allow that without earning at least one star. This way everything you enter afterwards is just for personal reference (not counting for the ranking), unless you earn an entire star after completing your custom challenge. And you won't be nagged about those 2 books per week that you're never going to read.

If people are going to count stars then I think I can join half challenges for my other languages (Georgian, Russian, German). I believe I'd be able to read 50 books but 1 video star would already be hard work.

Also, it would be great if graph view and list view were not toggled as "choose one" but as "display/hide". and the lists are going to be huge now if we tweet every 50 pages...

You can tweet whenever you like. Just because 50 pages counts as a single book, you don't need to tweet until you finish the real life book, as long as you give the number of pages. I plan to tweet each time I finish a book, long or short, so that I end up with a nice list of the books I completed.

I just saw a mention of Harry Potter in Latin in another thread, and so I grabbed my Ancient Greek copy and checked the pages. It is one of those unusual books that starts on page 1, and it has exactly 250 pages. It's like it was made for the Super Challenge. I'm thinking I might actually tackle more Ancient Greek in this challenge than I had originally planned.

Dang... I just can't wait! (How sad is that, LOL).

Cristina, let us start a week early! It will give us a bit extra time, too. It might make a difference at the end for someone finishing or not! Please, please. :)
