For French speakers, RFI's Danse des mots is excellent. They release a 20-minute episode daily. It's not at all a hard-boiled linguistics podcast; it's more a soft look at general linguistic phenomena.

I've been listening to this at work and am really enjoying it, thank you! I especially like how it goes back before the Norman Invasion (that's where many sources start for English) and explains a bit about other language families as well. The Scandinavian countries have a trio of excellent podcasts about general linguistics.
