Well, this isn't exactly a language post, but it's a cultural/historical one.
Looking for something on youtube, I ended up searching for "1930s travelogue", which led to many videos from the entire early 20th c. Some are amazing, some present places changed forever or even lost, some are shocking in their ideas and language. All of them were interesting. The quality varies from b/w to colour film. I thought I'd share the idea, if anyone feels like a time travel. After all, some of you will find their own country in them. 4 persons have voted this message useful |
