Not implausible though!
Klingon was the first foreign language I studied; there was no foreign language tuition in my primary school, but I liked Star Trek and got the misleadingly titled Klingon Dictionary by Mark Okrand, which is actually a small but comprehensive textbook with grammar reference and all, not merely a dictionary. From this constructed language created mostly by linguist and polyglot Mark Okrand, I learned a fair bit about how language works, some years before being formally taught my first foreign languages (French and Latin). Oh dear, so Rosetta Stone can't even come up with authentic jokes. How can anyone trust them to teach authentic Spanish? (or Klingon)
