I found this article interesting: Wikipedia To Redesign Across More Than 32 Million Pages

Apparently there is an issue finding an open-source font that renders correctly for all the world's languages, as evidenced by this graphic:

The new format Wikipedia will use is Georgia for headers, and Helvetica or Arial for body copy.

I don't like these fonts.
They look too corporate/business-like to me.

My browser is set to: Garamond Premier Pro (for all Latin-based fonts, including Vietnamese),
Adobe Devanagari (for Hindi), TB Mincho (for Japanese), so I won't be able to see these changes anyway.

IMHO, it's odd that they use a serif font for headings and a sans-serif font for body text, because most web designers use sans-serif fonts for headings and serif fonts for body text.

However, I can live with most of the Wikipedia styles. The only customization that I use is a simple Firefox GreaseMonkey script that changes the default Arabic font to Sakkal Majalla and increases the font size of Arabic text to 150%.
