Hello,
I'm new to the forums and just trying to get the hang of things here :)
There are lots of languages I'd like to study, but my top priority language is currently Basque. I've been wanting to learn it for years, but never actually got around to doing it. I hope that at the end of this challenge things will look different!
By the way, what is the difference between this thread and the sticky thread "Learning Based Challenge- Signup thread"? Where do I have to post my goals for the challenge?
Also, I'd like to brush up on my Danish skills, I'd rate my current skill level A2-something. Is this too high for the challenge since I'm not a complete beginner with the language?

You may find this summary page useful.
The learning-based challenge was a preparation for the Super Challenge. It was in April and now it's over (though I'm sure we'll have one again at some point)
For the 6 week challenge, you don't set goals. If you use the twitter bot, you just choose a language when you sign up.
The maximum level is B1, but for the 6 week challenge you can choose only one main language. Apart from that, you can also count any other foreign language, even the ones you're fluent in. Basically, have a look at this page too.

I think I signed-up correctly because I follow the 6WC Twitter account and the bot replies to my tweets, however I'm not being followed so I have to keep my profile public otherwise my score will not be updated. Is this behaviour normal or did I do something wrong when I registered?

I am in with Spanish. Have been effectively doing it so far anyway. I started Spanish in Mid April, so I am definitely at
the absolute beginner stage. I am hoping to get to A1 or possibly A2 by mid June with intensive work.
Do I need to do anything with Twitter? I do not have a twitter account and I have absolutely no interest in opening
one.
