Hello everyone! My name is Rafa and I'm from Galicia, a historical region of Spain. I
joined this forum because of the high level in languages that the people who post here had. That encouraged me to start posting and sharing experiences about languages with all of you. I speak, as you probably have guessed, Spanish and Galician. The firs one is well-known for all of you, but the second one is little known. Galician is a language very similar to the Portuguese language as they came from the same language, the Galician-Portuguese. They are so similar that exist people who claim that both languages are, in fact, the same language. But I'm not here to discuss about that (of course, if any of you want to, I will). My main goal in language learning is to achieve a high level in English (C1-C2). Once I get that, I have in mind studying other languages: Portuguese, French, German... Well, as I said before, I am very happy to be part of this community. I hope that I can help you if you have any questions. PS. Hi Rafa, welcome to the forum! My granparents were Galician, so I'm happy to see someone from there.
