Europeans of some age must remember the fabulous Italian songs of the 60s and 70s. The
San Remo festival that ushered the new hits. The songs inspired many to learn Italian, including me. I studied a teach yourself method around 1968 to understand 'quelli eran jiorni". Below is a site that tries to teach Italian through songs. They have all the classics with their lyrics and translations. One needs to know some grammar to benefit. Just be aware about Italian songs being not always "grammatically correct"...often the
word order is very different from the actual spoken language and lots of expressions just sound awful :D 1 person has voted this message useful |
