Y unos pocos comentarios sobre tu post anterior: -necesito saber cuáles son mis errores antes de que pueda evitarlos. Aquí otra vez tienes dos verbos con el mismo sujeto: Necesito saber ... antes de PODER evitarlos -quizás sería mejor si escriba No se usa el presente del subjuntivo con si. "Sería mejor si/que escirbIERA.." (o incluso sería mejor si escribo) -sé que hago mas errores En castellano, los errores no se hacen, se "cometen" (sé que COMETO más errores) 2 persons have voted this message useful | |

I haven't been updating here (obviously), but I'm over my cold and having a good time in Guanajuato now.
Except that tonight I just got out of a movie, and I have to say, HOLY HELL I do not speak Cuban(!). The movie might as well have been in French (which I have never studied) for how little I understood. I saw Luis Estrada's "La Ley de Herodes" last week and did just fine there, language-wise. But Cuban Spanish? Worse, little-kid Cuban Spanish? Wow. 1 person has voted this message useful | |

You just need to get used to the accent. To give a little context, in Spanish the little crab in "The Little Mermaid" (i don't remember its name anymore) speaks with a Cuban accent. The English version used a Jamaican accent. Check out the song Bajo el mar to see what i'm talking about.
There are a couple Cuban hip-hop/rap groups (like Los Aldeanos or D'Mente) that i like so i've heard the Cuban accent a bit and it doesn't sound so.. extranjero anymore. 2 persons have voted this message useful | |
