So, since no one replied these days, I'll stick to Sarnek's suggestion and just elaborate a bit on it.
June Challenge - Song Analysis
Pick a song of your choice in your Scandinavian TL and analyze it: explain, in your TL also, what you think about the song, how it makes you feel, what is the context etc.
Input alternative: just study the lyrics of the song intensively, looking up the words, trying to get the actual meaning of the idioms, watching out for abreviations caused by the need of following metrics. You can also SRS the new vocabulary, and you can write the result of your analysis in English here.

Thanks a lot for the links, Emme. I particularly
enjoyed some of the stuff you've suggested.
Expug, I am perfectly ok with what you proposed
previously, and to be honest I fail to see much of
a difference with what I came up with, so yeah,
either is fine.
I have listened to quite a few Swedish songs this
month and have one that might just work for this
challenge, but unfortunately I'll be able to start
working on it only towards the end of the month.

Given the current situation of the forum, I consider the TAC is more or less on standby. I didn't work on the challenge, and I think it can be extended into the month of July while things are sorted out.

The activity dropped at this forum and not all members are getting together at the other forum. I personally think TAC as an institution is impaired. I personally am not willing to open another thread at the other forum, but if anyone wants to, feel fine to do so.

In four months we'll know if there's a demand for a TAC 2016 - here or over there. Personally, I like a good challenge now and then but find it hard to keep up.

Right, but what to do about the current TAC?

Personally, I like having a smaller place to hang out with people who are studying similar languages to share discoveries, progress, difficulties and encouragement. Otherwise keeping up with the whole forum sometimes seems a bit daunting, especially when you’re super busy.
But I realise that the technical issues of this summer have put a dent on the consistency of the teams and the feasibility of the TAC in general.
I don’t see a clear solution, but if you decide to keep this thread open/active or to open a new one on the other forum, I’m sure I’ll try to drop by and take part (within the limits of the time constraints I’m having this year).

I was thinking on the likes of keeping this as the roster so as to avoid having to replicate it at another forum for just the remaining months and then open a new one just for the people who opened their logs there as well to post their linka, and keep the discussion there as well.
