Fellow Anglophones and those who know a thing or two about accents,
I have been studying English as a foreign/second language for about 14 years and one of my long-term goals has been to acquire the standard British pronunciation (known as the Received Pronunciation). Honestly, this might sound nothing to those who 'speak it', but I have found it difficult to practice since I am not quite often in an environment of people who actually would speak it, unfortunately.
Thusly, I would be grateful if you would suggest any TV series in which the main participants speak using the RP accent all the time and very distinctly.
Oh, and if you are well acquainted with the TV series, please do tell in a couple of sentences what it is about.
Thank you in advance.

David Attenborough is a good option. You'll never run out of his programs

Not sure about the "very distinctly" part, but these should do the trick:
Sherlock
Downtown Abbey
The Fall
Penny Dreadful
Doctor Who

In addition to a lot of good and great BBC series like mentioned above, I recommend to watch "Lie to me". The
main character there speaks British accent and it sounds different compared to all the other ones which you'll
get to hear there.
Not yet recommended English series:
Life on Mars and its spin-off Ashes to Ashes

All right, thank you for the suggestions, will check those links and names for sure!
'Very distinctly' was meant in the meaning of to perceive or identify as having the characteristics of the RP accent.

A second vore for Misfits as the main characters has some different dialects and it took me a few
episodes to fully understand them.

You don't want to sound like someone from Skins or Misfits. Stick with David Attenborough or listen to BBC news.
