Dutch!
On the Facebook group for the conference, I suggested that we elect a target language to learn for the
conference so that everybody could add a new one if they were looking to you as well as have an automatic
group of people for which to converse with in October in New York City. Besides English, it's hard to find
another single language that ever person has experience with at these events, so now we have no excuse! It
can be assumed that most people agreed-upon New York's founding as New Amsterdam as the perfect
reason to pick Dutch. (I was pulling for Irish personally, but majority rules.) it's a good choice for historical
reasons, as well as the fact that while a Western European language, it doesn't get as much attention due to
a number of factors, so it will good to get more members of the polyglot community studying it.
Just wanted to let everyone know here!

I hadn't even heard about the conference in NYC '15 until I saw this post. But I really hope I'll be able to go. Could
we have some more information about it? Is there information about it on the Web beyond the Facebook page?
(Gelukkig dat ik al wat Nederlands spreek!)
