Hi, Kristine.

In the past I worked as a consultant, and one thing I learned was that sometimes you have to learn more about your client than what you have to work with.

This is one such case: in your profile you don't provide the languages you already speak, just your wish to become a language translator.

So, instead of just giving you 30 seconds of my time and replying "Arabic" (it seems obvious from what you say), I'd like you to provide us with a little more information about what you already have "in the bag". And you also seem to have "your list", apart from the languages above?

If you don't feel like saying more (which is understandable), the answer is the paragraph above, limited as it is.

In any case, I wish you all the best in your endeavours.

I only suggested this as something to consider, and only as an alternative to learning Persian in order to prepare oneself for Arabic. If the OP hates Esperanto, I'm sure they won't join the many people that waste their lives on hating it.
